Description of 1980 Toyota Land Cruiser

1980 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser uprated with GM Performance 350/290 hp engine, oyota 4 speed transmission and Toyota transfer case. One of the more sought after FJ's the 1980 model year features factory power steering, uel tank volume increased and relocated to outside the cabin, actory front disc brakes.
Recent addition to the family forces sale of this well equipped FJ40. Currently not completed 100% but shows very well given its age. With some additional body work (rear door sill and driver side cowl) would represent very well at shows and command top dollar. In its current state it is very clean and retains most of its original unique attributes.
Other enhancements include new BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A 31 X 10.50 R 15LT tires, ld Air Products AC and heat unit, SD ignition coil, SD ignition spark enhancer and distributer, olley 600 CFM carb with electric choke, delbrock Performer intake manifold, delbrock signature series valve covers and air cleaner. Rebuilt factory radiator, ebuilt front end, ew exhaust with Magnaflow muffler and 2.5 inch pipe.
Interior features Auto Meter gauges, port seats, uffy center console, actory shifters and new shift knob and shift boot. All new OEM door weatherstrip, xterior mirrors, un visors and windshield wipers. All glass is excellent with all working windows.
If your looking for a reliable turn key FJ40 with many upgrades this might be the right one for you. If you looking for a show truck this could be the right one for you with a little more work.
Frame and undercarriage in excellent condition.
This FJ spent many years in CA and TX and most recently on Cape Cod. The patina and evidence of it travels are still visible with inspection stickers.
