Selling a 1970 FJ40. 47,000 original miles with original motor. I am the second owner and purchased this rare spring green beauty in Arizona where it spent it's life in the dry heat. Having said that, ts a very dry vehicle with minimal cancer, xception is the typical back drip plate under the rear door being the major spot. Runs Great. Here is what has been changed. Power steering added by original owner, ront seatsreupholstered, teering column shift "three on a tree" relocated to the floor. New tires and hub caps, ubber floor mats added, ew dash pad, ew belts and fresh fluids and filters (oil and gas). I have a new roof liner still in the box, iberglass top weatherstrip ($340) still in box, ew OEM bumperetts, variety of newweatherstripping still in box. All doors have new weather stripping. New rear window and stripping installed. Valve cover, uel tank, ir filter pot, rip plate, an blade andshroud, orn button, nd a variety of other engine components have been sanded, rimed and painted. New carb kit installed, ew fuel manual three-way valve installed to switch to aux tank. Original owner removed heater boxes that Ihave. Front heater zinc coated and ready to be installed, ear looks new and ready to be reinstalled. Original Warn Winch and steel front bumper. Have the original tool bag and tools (might be missing a couple of original tools, riginal jack, ali 1970 black plate. I removed the aux fuel tank with the intent to restoring but have it, t has been pressure tested with no leaks and sanded, eeds to been painted and reinstalled. Original owner keptevery part to every come off and I have in boxes, irrors, ood spear, igh beam foot switch etc etc. Original manual. All with go with the car, ot breaking out parts, ool bag etc. Cosmetically, he body has a few dings and scratches but nothing major shown in pics. Roof gutter could use some attention in a couple of areas but is solid and no leaks.This is a prime vehicle for an all original restoration or drive as is. Has low range gears. I have never taken it off road. Hate to sell it but my kid needs a reliable vehicle and I must sell. Please don't blow me up about what the reserve is set at.
