1969 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 WINTER PROJECT

Details: Up for sale is a Used 1969 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40. This vehicle is running and driving, BUT WILL NEED TO BE TRANSPORTED. The entire drivetrain has been converted to a Chevrolet V-8 engine, 350 Automatic with a 241 transfer case. The engine is a 305, -barrel, nd runs very well. The transmission shifts into all the gears smoothly. The rear axle has been changed toa "center yoke" type Toyota to fit the Chevy drivetrain. Axle ratios and condition of the front axle are unknown and is not connected. It does run and drive in 2wd mode, ut will need major work on the transfer case mountin, or a transfer case swap to allow a front driveshaft to be installed (call me to explain). This rig has fender well headers with dual exhaust, ower brakes, nbsp;KC style lights, oll bar, ear jump seats, atcheting automatic shifter, EAVY DUTY tube-type front and rear bumpers and a CLEAN New Mexico title.

The top is a removable hard top from an earlier model, ut does not have any rear hatch or glass, nd fiberglass top is warped. It is sitting on the body, ut is not correct or the year. Back seats are included but are not mounted .

The body is in pretty good shape, ounting points good, nd the paint is fair. The frame is in good shape, nd suspension mounting points are clean.(See photos)

Head Lights, ail Lights, rake Lights, urn Signals,are in proper working order. The Gas gauge and Amperage gauge also work.

The front and back seats have all been recently reupholstered.
