very impressive restoration job done on this 1971 fj40. the only modifications are the diamond plated aluminum running boards, he new mickey Thompson callic 2 wheels, f Goodrich 33x12.50 all terrain tires and spring over axle lift. everything else is factory correct down to small details such as emissions stickers under the hood. it has a freshly built 2f engine that runs strong with a weber carb and electronic ignition conversion for reliability. This FJ is a local owned survivor with only 62,000 miles from Huntsville Alabama. there is no rust or body damage on this cruiser at all. it has all new weather stripping with the exception of vent windows and hardtop corner windows. every piece of chrome was sent off and re-chromed and polished and is better than factory original. completey disassembled and epoxy primed multiple times and has 3 coats of DuPont prothane factory correct olive brown inside and out. the white trim is painted factory correct Cygnus white. also has new glass that was installed with new rubber seals, and factory correct appearing LED taillights for safety since the originals were much dimmer. even has the original spare still on the spare tire carrier.
