Description of 1984 Toyota Corolla SR5 Lift back |
| Car was bought new by myself in November 1983. Almost all miles are highway miles. Maintenance was kept up to date until I quit driving it. Has rust in various places mostly on the hatchback. This was a factory defect. Most of the car is sound. AC compressor removed. Weber Carb installed. Exhaust needs replacement. Gas tank has rust and I suspect fuel line partially plugged. Had gas tank out about a year ago and cleaned but rust was prevalent and as earlier revealed I believe the fuel line is plugged and will need to be replaced. This car would make a project car for the Toyota enthusiast. It is a fairly rare model due to rear wheel drive and the hatchback. That's all I can remember right now. Has been a great car for me.This site would not accept the VIN - IT IS - JT2AE8600E0020660 - Shipping I am not sure about. I assume you come an get it. Otherwise maybe possible. |
