Description of 1989 Toyota Land Cruiser |

Clean - 2 owner vehicle. I have personally owned this truck for 22 years. This FJ62 was my dream car/truck and I've had a hard time letting it go, but I live in CA now so it's time to get it out of my family's driveway in Florida
The engine is strong. This was my daily driver for many years. There is a valve ticking sound after the rebuild, no issues in the past 70k+ miles - multiple mechanics have looked and said not to worry. There are no reported manufacturer's defects on this vehicle. You are looking at an exceptional SUV! These Land Cruisers are very popular and reliable! One of Toyota's best engines ever made, they routinely go 300,000 miles. The engine compartment is clean, and free of any leaks. THE FRAME IS SOLID. The body has some small rusted areas including the gutters on the right side and rear (partially sealed with aluminum tape shown in the photos); no water leaks through to the interior.Paint on the driver side rear panel is fading appears to have been repaired (from 1 minor accident in June 1993 before I bought the vehicle). The FJ62 is upgraded from the FJ60 - they came with rear sway bars and shoulder belts and head rests in the rear bench seat. They have larger side-view mirrors than a 60. They have a 4.11 gear ratio, vacuum operated push-button 4WD, power antenna and a more study frame. With the back seats folded flat, there's SIX FEET of cargo area length. Back seats up and you still have four feet of cargo area. This is Toyota's best version of a true SUV - off road capability designed for the African wilds or Australian Outback. The car runs great! As you can judge for yourself from the pictures - the interior is clean and looks good! Thehydraulicson the rear hatch have lost pressure and don't hold it open. The power locks work except the driver power door lock sticks. The power windows are in good working order,Full disclosure: the rear windows take a little longer to go up and down. The driver window is fast up and down and that's good since that's the one you'll use the most. The turn signals work intermittently, this just started and I expect there might be a short. The dashboard has 3 cracks behind the instrument panel. The radio was replaced with a Sony head unit with 10 disc changer under the passenger seat.
