Description of 1992 Toyota Land Cruiser Base Sport Utility 4-Door |
1992 Toyota Land Cruiser (FJ-80) Automatic 4.0 L 6-cyl (straight) Full-time All Wheel Drive, with 4WD High and Low. This truck is awesome. I bought it about a year ago from a guy from Texas who had just moved to the Northeast, and there is virtually no rust on the body of this vehicle. The previous owner replaced the tires shortly before selling the truck to me. I've had a blast driving it, and it does very well in icy and snowy conditions due to the AWD and great tires. The aftermarket rack on top is very sturdy and strong. 339,000 miles would be insane mileage for most vehicles, but land cruisers of this era have been known to run into the 700s with proper maintenance. The truck runs great, leaks oil just slightly, and needs a little bit of minor mechanical work and maintenance. You can see in the pictures--the outside is in immaculate shape, and the inside has some wear and tear, but is in otherwise good shape considering the age of the truck. Three rows of seats can hold seven people total, and all seat belts work. The truck is slow for acceleration but is powerful and amazing for off-road capability or just hauling equipment around. This would be a perfect first car, winter vehicle, off-road toy, or daily driver. |
