This is a nice clean 66 fj40 I restored it to this point about eight years ago. I removed every body and interior part short of Pulling the body off the frame. All parts were stripped down to the metal and painted before reassembled with new gaskets throughout 90% of the body. Stainless steel nuts and bolts throughout the interior and exterior were used to replace rusty stock bolts. Fenders and any areas that would get rock chips or from normal wear and tear professionally coated with bed liner then painted to retain gloss finish. Interior has the same treatment on the floor and roof. Most of the exterior has a 3m clear bra protecting the paint from scratches. I did move/replace the fuel tank and moved it to the rear between the frame above the rear axel. It has a 2f engine with a new factory carburetor 4 speed transmission mounted to a 3 speed transmission transfer case, both were pulled out this last winter and I replaced all gaskets and seals on the transmission and transfer case at that time . It has disk brakes on the front drum on the rear rear. It has been updated with GM power steering with a high steer conversion (this combination was one of the best things I ever did, It drives fantastic compared to stock). The suspension is stock springs other than mounting the springs on top of the axles but has new polyurethane bushings and recently replaced shocks with 35" BFG AT tires with less than 5000 miles on them. The tire carrier is from a h2 hummer and is the best built tire carrier in my opinion. The paint is in good shape but has a few flaws from the last few years. Any serious inquiries message me and I will get back to you. I have many photos from various stages of the work that has been done
