Clean/clear title in my name.
I originally bought the Land Cruiser to turn into an adventure rig (think roof tent go anywhere camping vehicle). I quickly realized I missed the versatility of a truck and since have bought a newer Tundra. I want to see this truck go to someone that knows its full potential and will appreciate it.
This Land Cruiser has seen numerous 500+ mile trips since I have owned it and its performed flawlessly. Cruise control works great and the truck drive smooth/straight down the road. It is not my daily driver but I usually drive it once a week to work and back which is 60 miles round trip.
Since owning the land Cruiser I have replaced items preventively for peace of mind. Almost all of the items I replaced didn't need to be done, but being the meticulous person I am I just replaced things anyway. I have all of the receipts for the items I replaced.
9+/10 interior cloth interior, no rips or tears on the seats. a very small distortion on the drivers side door vinyl up near the front of the window. Door cards are in excellent shape (9+ out of 10) Has 3rd row "jump seats" that fold up and out of the way if needed, or provide 2 additional seats. All seats are in perfect shape. Has factory Land Cruiser floormats in front/back seat and 3rd row normal wear and tear. Dash has a few small cracks but is covered with a black dashmat. Truck always has a sun shade in the windishield. Stock CD player ( yes in a 1993 lol, works ok but is definitely outdate. Speakers and head unit could use updating, I couldn't bring myself to removing it and replacing for some reason.
8/10 exterior- Small dent/scratch on driver side quarter panel. Paint is faded in places. Overall body is straight and is not beat up. Running boards/fender flares are currently removed but I have them in my garage ( all in great shape) I also have a full sized spare that I will included with the truck.
Motor runs strong. Doesn't burn any oil/coolant. No smoke on cold startup or when the engine is warm whatsoever. NO CHECK ENGINER LIGHTS. Passed emissions with flying colors. It is currently registered/insured with tags expiring November of 2017.
Factory E-Lockers (front/center/rear) all work perfect. Will go anywhere.
Coolant flush (OEM Toyota red replaced around 235,000)
Pesky Heater Hose Replaced same time as coolant.
Starter (DENSO OEM replaced around 247,000 miles)
Fuel Filter (Denso replaced around 247,000 miles)
Spark plugs (OEM Toyota iridium replaced around 245,000) ) I have the OEM coppers that I pulled out of the truck. All look perfect. Will include with the sale.
Distributor Cap( OEM Toyota replaced around 235,000) Timing is set to 7 degrees currently and I run 91 octane (shell/chevron only). This can be changed back to the factory 3 degrees timing if you want to run 87 octane. Takes about 5 minutes with a timing light, paperclip and a 12MM wrench.
Spark plug wires (OEM Toyota replaced around 240,000)
Air filter (OEM Toyota replaced around 240,000) Still have filter that came out of the truck. Its in great shape and will be included with sale.
Cooling fan/blue clutch (replaced around 245,000). Nothing was wrong with the old clutch/fan. I just replaced it as a preventative measure. The clutch/fan that came off are in great shape and I will include it with the sale.
Heater blows hot and works as it should.
A/C was serviced/leak tested/topped off. (replaced around 240,000 miles). Everything checked out fine, no leaks of any kind detected. Air blows nice and cold
Front/center/rear diff serviced (Lucas full synthetic 75w90 replaced around 240,000)
Transmission fluid flushed (OEM toyota fluid at around 235,000)
Oil change (replaced around 245,000 miles with Rotella T6 5W40 and an OEM Toyota oil filter)
(4) New BF Goodrich all terrain K02's (1200+$) (replaced around 240,000 ) with lifetime transferrable warranty from Discount Tire. 95%+ percent tread left.
Rancho Steering stabilizer (replaced around 235,000). Old one was fine, replaced preventatively.
New Antenna ( OEM Toyota) Old one was broke when I got the truck.
Steering column plastic piece (OEM Toyota)
Headlights (OEM Toyota glass) I have 2 extra glass headlights. The driver side headlight was shot out by a bb gun so it has a hole in it the passenger side is in great shape. Both will be included with the sale.
All the windows go up/down and work fine
Sunroof works, though it is slow.
Has factory Toyota alarm with aftermarket key fob for keyless entry.
Has an aftermarket front bumper
Has tow hitch/wiring.
Bad:
The truck has a very small oil leak. I believe it is coming from the rear main seal as it leaks through the access panel between the transmission/engine. A few drops fall after its been driven for the day then it stops When you come to see the truck its been parked in the same spot for over a year. Theres a few drips in the driveway. Nothing concerning at all.
Drivers door does not unlock when using the key fob. You have to unlock with the key. Never looked into it. Lock actuator might be worn out? Im not 100% sure. Never was really that much of an issue for me.
Crack in the windshield. Once you switch the truck to your insurance you can get it fixed immediately.
10% of the driver side window seal is missing towards the top. Does not leak
When the truck is in "D" the light in the gauge cluster is burnt out.
Please feel free to ask any other questions that you may have. This Land Cruiser is SOLID and ready to go. I can pickup from the Tucson Airport if needed. I wouldnt hesitate to drive this Land Cruiser across country.
