Description of 1969 Toyota Land Cruiser |
1969 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 with 3 inch lift on comfort ride springs and Bilstein shocks. This FJ40 has 4 wheel disk brakes utilizing late 1980s Toyota disk brake assemblies. Power steering is Saginaw and steering column is Chevrolet with tilt. It has a Chevy 350 V8 with Rams Horn Exhaust manifolds and dual exhaust. Engine has about 6000 miles on it. Edelbrock intake with 4 barrel carburetor. NV4500 5 speed transmission with Centerforce clutch and pressure plate mated to the original Toyota transfer case. Warn hubs on front axle. Vintage Air A/C and heat installed about two years ago. Body and frame has been rhino lined inside and out and also has extra layers of insulation and carpet on top inside. Instrument cluster is Auto Meter and all work property. All exterior and interior lights are LED with the exception of headlights and driving lights being HID. Leather captains chairs and locking center console with stereo CD.4 Row aluminum radiator with 17 inch fan and shroud. 14 inch electric fan on front of radiator for A/C. Im sure there is more but too much has been done to this FJ40. If you have any questions feel free to ask. The only bad is the throwout bearing will need to be replaced soon as its making noise. The front driveshaft is not connected as the front springs were flipped to move the front axle forward 3 inches for more stability. Front driveshaft will either need to be extended or spacers installed or front leaf springs flipped back and front axle put back. There is a custom heavy duty belly pan that is included but not installed at the moment. |
