Description of 1988 Toyota MR2 Supercharged

NO RESERVE 5 DAY AUCTION --Bidder on last auctioncancelled bid and screwed up the auction. Please do not bid if you don'tintend to buy and zero feedback bids will be cancelledif you don't call first!

1988 MR2 Rare Supercharged (less than 800 in 1988 I believe), runs, drives and shifts very good but has a bad head gasket (white smoke from exhaust), we don't have the time to mess with so just selling to get rid of it -- didn't know about the head gasket when we bought it. This is a CA car so no rust at all, I think the car sat for a bit because the tires are hard and weather checked so need replacement, water seeping from weep hole on water pump -- maybe the cause of head gasket? AC blows cold, starts right up and can be driven on truck to be shipped. I took it around the block and it is very quick and shifts good through the gears. Inside and T-tops are in great shape. Everything works from what I can tell. Fix the head gasket along with water pump and maybe timing belt and related seals and you will have a great car and probably a big money maker (should be worth $5-10k I would think). Being sold as is with no guarantees, again wejust don't have time to mess with it. Being sold through dealer I work with (Verdone Auto in Fountain Hills, AZ)Call with questions. Thanks, Dave 612-987-1878

Note: The car has not passed emissions, if sold to a buyer in AZ they will be responsible for emissions to get title (it may pass but would want to trailer it to emission testing facility). If you say your keeping the carin a non-emission locationof AZ we may be able to avoid emissions. Call with questions. If your an out-of-state buyer,it's a non-issue.
