For auction is a 1979 Toyota Corolla rear wheel drive. It has the 2tc 1.6 engine and it runs strong. I did a compression test and all 4 cylinders are even at almost the factory-new spec.It has a fresh valve adjustment, new cap and rotor, wires, plugs, 4 new shocks, front brake hoses, transmission fluid (royal purple), brake shoe, and many more things. It has the pointless upgraded distributor. (no need to worry about replacing contact points). It shifts pretty good, it does 65mph in 3rd gear, 80mph in 4th gear and top speed is around100mph in 5th gear.It has been my daily drive for the past 2 years. I commute 50 miles every single day. I bought it with less than 100,000 miles and drove it for 30,000 miles. It NEVER left me walking. It starts under freezing cold or high summer heat. The bad thing is that it has rust on the front (specially driver side) floor and fenders. The tailgate is off due to a broken bracket and it doesn't latch. It will need 4 new tires pretty soon and the windshield has a crack. It needs a good interior TLC. I bough it with intentions of swapping a 2jz-gte on it, but I'm gonna swap that engine in my Datsun 260z.The only reason why I'm selling it, is because I have 3 cars, and where I live, they only allow 2 cars parked...Clean title under my name.Let me know if you have questions.
