1992 Toyota Supra Wide Body Twin Turbo R | | | 1992 Toyota Supra Wide Body Twin Turbo R (scroll down for photos) Very rare JDM Wide Body Supra Turbo R that is literally a time capsule that was shipped over from Japan (Right Hand Drive). The car has very low miles 46,800 kilometers (29,100 Miles). I have all the paperwork proving the low kilometers are accurate. Also, the car has an assigned vin with a clean Arizona box A title. I have regular insurance and its currently insured through Farmers Insurance. The interior is excellent with no rips or tears. Non-smoker car with no burns or weird smells. This particular car is extremely rare with a limited production Twin Turbo R package from the factory. This Twin Turbo R package came with Recaro Racing seats, MOMO Steering Wheel and MOMO Shifter. Along with the interior there is Tein shocks and other racing suspension components. The dark green color is a Twin Turbo R exclusive along with the gun metal grey color on the rims. All these items mentioned above where installed at the time the car was assembled by Toyota. Even though this looks like a USDM Supra in Japan they where marketed as “wide body” Supra due to the smaller variant Supra available in Japan. The engine fires right up and boosts right up with its very peppy 1JZ-GTE twin turbo engine. All gauges work turbos spool right up and the car just wants to go! This car spent more time off the road than on making it a fairly rare bird since most of these cars that you see for sale in Japan have 100,000 kms or more. As for modifications to the car it has a turbo timer, short shifter with new shifter bushings, a new performance HKS Exhaust, and I replaced the Japanese aftermarket radio with an XM- and navigation-ready head unit. I personally just did the timing belt service with OEM parts. All the fluids have been replaced along with new belts and hoses. The ECU has all new capacitors since that is an issue with cars that have the 1JZGTE engine. Nice cold air-conditioning that is climate controlled that was recently serviced. The spare tire is original and will need to be replaced.Some parts of the car have been professionally repainted in the original beautiful dark metallic green color that was only available on the Twin Turbo R. It was professionally done and there are no runs or blemishes in the paint. There are a few dents and dings with the car being 25 years old. As for things that are not on the good side, there is a spot on the lower bumper where the paint has come off and some trim pieces are not in terrific condition, but there is no Bondo or signs that there was ever any body repair. The underside has some light surface rust underneath, but nothing alarming, and the floor panels are solid. When it was shipped over from Japan it had a loose tail light that had allowed water into the trunk. You can see evidence of it on the spare, but no major rust or long-term damage just light surface rust on a few components. The only bummer from the leaky tail light is a faulty "bulb burnt out" sensor that occasionally throws a “bulb out” dash light even though none of the bulbs are out. The photos show what appears to be rust but its dust from the back matting of the rear carpet. The car drives like a dream very responsive and fun to drive. I am happy to meet prospective buyers to show the car and or have it inspected locally. I require a deposit of $400 by PayPal that is non refundable if you buy and cancel.
