1987 FJ60 Land Cruiser 42K Original Miles

Up for auction is a FJ60 with under 42K original miles. Service records and paperwork from 1988 to 2012 during the second owners ownership are included.

The included owner's manual indicates that this Land Cruiser was originally purchased at Covington Pike Toyota, Memphis, TN, Date of First Use 12-09-1986.

Additionally included with the vehicle are copies of the second owners purchase paperwork dated 01-08-1988 from Continental Toyota, Inc. in Joplin, Missouri.Mileage shown at the time of the second owners purchase is 14,743 miles.

I purchased this FJ60 in late 2012 from a seller on eBay located in Oklahoma.At that time the Land Cruiser had 40,690 miles on it. The seller indicated that he had bought it from the second owner whom had the vehicle from 1988 to early 2012. I have stored the FJ60 indoor since 2012.

The white exterior paint appears to be all original, no body rust or evidence of body work ever being done. Some small chips and scratches, most have been touched up by previous owner. The frame has typical surface rust. See photos below.

Brown interior is in great condition, clean seats, carpets, mats, headliner and solid dash all intact. There is one small tear in the vertical portion of the rear seat bottom and wear on the emergency brake handle, see pictures below.

BFG mud terrain tires were installed including the spare in 2012. The windshield was replaced in 2013 with new Toyota OEM glass, rubber and moldings, new bumper end caps and ARB steps were also installed. Oil change and replacement of the radiator and thermostat were recently completed. Cold A/C, this FJ60 runs and drives great.

Known outstanding items: one a/c vent is missing the middle knob, fuel gauge does not work and the cosmetic issues noted above. Please see pictures below for more details.
