Description of 1988 Toyota Celica GT Convertible

1988 Toyota Celica GT Convertible. It is Considered a Classic (30 yrs old)

Well taken care of and have kept it covered and stored. I am asking $2,500. I have put approximately $4,500 into upgrades including paint and body. ( retails up to $4,800 NADA)
Mileage 154k. Engine is a 2.0 liter 3SFE AT

Aesthetically made to look beautiful, runs good, starts right up but needs some TLC since It has not been a daily runner.

What i have done to it:

New canvas Top/pads/headliner.

New BFG 4 tires with Gun Metal 15 in American racing rims.

Beautiful paint and body work, shines like a mirror. All black with original grey corduroy upholstery not ripped/torn. Back seat does fold down. Trunk is clean.

Pioneer CD digital stereo with remote. Pioneer and Infinity speakers have great clear loud sound.

Flip headlights with new LED lamps. Cruise control, heat works.

New windshield. Good brakes. Body is solid. No dents.

The only thing I have customized in the engine is I added an air intake.

What it needs:

Automatic Window Switch on passenger side the window does not work properly. Have replaced the motor but not the regulator.

The Hydraulic pump for the top has a leak. Tried to fix with new o ring, motor works but pump leaks. Replacement is approx $200, easy to install and hookup.

No air conditioning installed but can be added. The A/C unit was removed completely from the engine block prior to my purchase many years ago. Only the mounting bolts, hose bipass and control dash switch remain for the air conditioner.

Wiper fluid hoses/fitting for windshield cleaner. cheap easy fix.
