The Facts About the Hilux Model LN106-PRMSS

• Produced from 09/1988 - 07/1991
• This date range was the only time Toyota manufactured a double cab pickup that contained both the 2.8 liter diesel (3L engine) and a solid front axel all together in one package, in the Japanese market!
• Prior models did have a solid axel, but the engine was a much slower 2.4 liter (2L engine).
• Later models have the 2.8 Liter engine, but were manufactured with independent front suspension (IFS).
• The LN106 truly is the "Sweet Spot" in Hilux production!
• For these reasons, the LN106 is getting very rare to find. The prices reflect the rarity. I foresee the price of these vehicles continuing to rise as more people in the USA become aware of their existence and rare availability.

The Bad

• Windshield is cracked
• Some rust on bottoms of the doors, frame and undercarriage is mint though
• Some previous owner took out the a/c compressor, Heart works awesome though
• Some bumps and bruises, dings and scratches... its a 25 year old Hilux
• Suspension is tired
