1994 Toyota MR2 turbo

This is a well preserved and maintained stock 1994 Toyota MR2 Turbo being sold free of any known mechanical defects or issues. Seller is a 67-year-old male who has owned the car for 16 years and has added 30,000 miles to the odometer. Seller has been meticulous in the care and treatment of this car. It has been stored covered in a garage when not being driven. All VIN numbers are present. The car has not reportedly been involved in any accidents and there is no evidence of any body repair having been performed.

This car was originally sold by Knoblock Toyota, now Superior Toyota in Erie Pennsylvania. The original owner was reportedly a mechanic at the selling dealership. The original owner sold the car to a car broker in 2003 who owned it for a few weeks until being purchased by seller.

Seller just had major engine out, service and preventative maintenance completed at 69,244 miles. The work was performed by Kris Osheim owner of KO Racing in Oregon City, Oregon. The engine was removed from car, cleaned, most exterior components were removed, inspected, and cleaned before being reinstalled with new gaskets.

The following items were replaced with Toyota parts:

Timing belt

Water pump and water pump gasket

Tensioner idler pulleys,

Cam seals,

Front main seal,

Valve cover gasket

Distributer O ring

Water by-pass hose (HFH)

Water by-pass hose (HFHOE)

Water by-pass hose #4

Thermostat gasket

Dipstick gasket

A/C belt

Alternator belt

Turbo drain gasket

Spark plugs were changed, timing checked, and distributed cap cleaned. Oil was changed and new oil filter installed. The only issue encountered during this restoration process was a leak in the valve cover gasket on the intake side. Oil was changed with Amsoil 10W30 Signature Series and the oil filter replaced. Coolant was pressure filled with Toyota coolant and pressure tested to 25 psi. Transmission gear oil was drained and replaced with Amsoil 75W90 GL4 GL5 rated full synthetic. Front and rear OE style replacement strut inserts (KYB GR2) were installed.

Car passed Oregon DEQ on 04/12/19 and a DEQ Certificate of Compliance was issued.

Turbo timer installed using a plug and play harness.

Rear wheels replaced with

SSR Integral A2, 17x8, +38 offset

Front wheels replaced with

SSR Integral A2, 17x7, +45 offset

Goodrich steel braided brake lines.
