Description of 1980 Toyota Land Cruiser Troopcarrier |
This is arguably Toyotas most successful 4wd vehicle and is used in almost every country in the world. 75 Series Land CrusierIt's a 1993 (eBay doesn't recognize the Vin so had to make it older on the listing)1HZ Engine: 6 Cylinder Diesel 4wd high and low 5 speed manual 13 seater Air Conditioning Dual battery Battery management system Built in water tank 2x 90 liter fuel tanks (47 gallons)Right Hand DriveImport from Australia I just spent 15 months in Australia building out one of these into an overlanding vehicle for myself and bought this one to fill the rest of my container. It's in near perfect condition for being 25 years old. It's got low milage and absolutely NO RUST. It is nearly impossible to find these things with no rust and low miles at 25 years old. It is still almost completely stock and would be the ultimate platform for someone wanting to get into overlanding. If you don't know much about the troopys or 1hz motors do a search on Google for them. The motors are known to go over 1 million kms. Some argue the most reliable engine ever made. And the troopy has hardly changed at all from year to year. "If it's not broke don't fix it" put into practice. About the miles: the vehicle reads 466,000kms but the engine was replaced in 30th of December 2011 with a motor that had 10,000kms. Unfortunately that's all I know about the milage so it's a bit unknown. I bought this truck from an auction and obviously this information was lost at the transfer of the owner to the auction company. But these regularly go over the 1 million km mark! For more pictures send me an email and I can send you a linked photo album That's about it. Any other questions feel free to ask. |
