Description of 1986 Toyota 4Runner

If you're familiar with the history of these, this is a First Generation Toyota 4Runner. The most interesting thing about this vehicle is that it is a fiberglass drop-top convertible. The fiberglass deck lid is removable and it converts into a truck, like an old Ford Bronco, or an open-back 4 seater, like a Jeep. I bought this from a man in the Bay Area of California, where his aunt and uncle, have been the custodians of this beauty for 31 years. He owned it for a few months and decided he wanted something else. When I found out he was selling the vehicle, I shot up to CA and transported this back. I wanted to fully restore this as a Sunday cruiser that I could take the top off, however I am moving to a place where I won't have a garage, so I'll have to let this go to another collector. She's running much stronger than ever before, and with the low weight, is very capable. People often choose these over something like a Land Cruiser because of their sportiness, that is if they can find them. - 116k original miles - 100% Stock - Clean Arizona Title and Emissions - New Battery - Rebuilt Alternator - Original Interior with 4 Seat Option - Original Radio Working - No A/C as it's not a daily driver - Foldable Rear Seats - Top has never been removed - Automatic Transmission with 4x4 (4WD Transfer case) - Brand New Falken Tires - Original Front Lockers - New Timing Chain + Water Pump - New Rear Main Seal - New 22RE Head - 100k Service - New Spark Plugs - New Plug Wires - New Distributor Cap Happy Bidding!
