Description of 1986 Toyota 4Runner DLX

This is an all original, unmolested 1st generation 4Runner that is in good running condition with current Texas inspection (6/20) and a working air conditioner. !!! This truck isdriven daily at highway speeds at has made numerous out-of-town trips with no issues. This would be a good hunting vehicle or just a daily driver!
The interior passenger area carpets have been cleaned and the seats are in good condition (See pictures). All lights, turn signals and brake lights work.Dashboard is cracked - as are all of them !
New items within the last year include:
Radiator- new aluminum core with Japanese radiator cap and new Toyota OEM hoses (all 3).

All mechanical parts purchased from either 22REPERFORMANCE dot com or other reputable Toyota OEM retailers. Another good source for parts is The 4Runner House in Garland, Tx.(Dallas) should you need anything else.
This was originally a South Dakota vehicle, as such, there is rust on the fenders and some on the undercarriage. See pictures.
This would be a great hunting vehicle, restoration project, or daily driver. Very reliable enginetransmission combination on a mid-80's Toyota. Everything work, but the rear windows occasionally does not - probably a loose wire. Both the heater and A/C work!!!
The previous owner tried to put an aftermarket cruise control, but failed miserably. I have disconnected it as it was causing a constant high-idle.
It will need a repair of an exhaust leak at the exhaust header, but doe not make much noise.
Just recently thoroughly cleaned the injectors (Seafoam), throttle body intake and cold start injector. Also cleaned the engine bay. Truck is driven daily at freeway speeds and the 16-inch tires are in good shape with plenty of tread.
