Description of 1974 Toyota Land Cruiser

A reconditioned 1974 Land Cruiser FJ55.Underneath has been rust treated, cut out/welded where needed and then coated to stop rust with KBS rust seal and undercoated with a bed liner product. Iron Pig was then sanded down, primer and painted a metallic Forest Green and White paint inside the cab and out including the engine bay.New Headliner, newly reupholstered front bucket seats that recline and slide(not original), Original 4 Speed manual with original F155 Engine(rare for this year), new plugs, new Weber carb, upgraded 40 gallon gas tank with skid plate(tank was cleaned and coated inside), new brake pads, new door seals, new dash cover, new head liner, original floor mats with some holes and rips, original Warn 6000lb winch with inside remote controls(not hooked up but included), original spare tire tools under rear bench seat and jack under front drivers seat, rear heater(not connected with wire but with radiator hoses). Original rear seat in good condition.
Is not perfect, but much improved. Some rust spots in paint. Its been painted for 1 1/2 years now.Drives and starts up easily. Not sure if all gauges work, haven't driven it around much but start it up every month. Drivers' door must shut hard to close, needs adjustment. Rear window works. Tailgate is not original for 1974 but from older Iron Pig, same with drivers front fender. Do have extra 4 doors and hood and front fenders if needed. Tires have good tread but are old, so I do not recommend driving it home! 4x4 works. I have the side mirrors, just not bolted up.
As most of you know these vehicles are given lots of love to honor the tradition of going anywhere at any time and have the classic wagon looking for adventure. I've tried my best to describe the vehicle with positives and negatives and let the pictures show the condition of the vehicle. I've worked on it for two years and put in my love for the Iron Pig and now its up to someone else to continue the tradition. Best of luck on making it YOURS!
