Description of 1975 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ

1975 Toyota FJ Landcruiser with Chevrolet 350 V8 and TH400 Automatic Transmission. Professionally built here in Southern California, with only 21, 629 miles since completion. Always adult owned, and never abused. Built for long desert and Baja, Mexico runs. Two gas tanks, two batteries, heavy duty radiator, heavy duty transmission cooler, giant winch, onboard air compressor (see photo), even has Air Conditioning!! The balance of this 4x4 is EXCELLENT (unlike some V8 conversions that are nose-heavy, and its a great driver on city streets, as well as on the beach or in snow. The power steering is extremely smooth. The Chevy 350 starts EVERY time, and delivers smooth power through the TH400 Transmission. Exhaust note is nice without being loud or obnoxious, and flows through dual exhaust. The FJ is lifted, and all the 4x4 equipment works as it should. Sits on chrome wheels and 31x10.50R15LT BF GOODRICH ALL-TERRAIN RADIAL TAs. Has a great sounding AM/FM Cassette Player that could be updated if desired.
Cosmetically, what you see is what you get, and it is always garaged. If you enjoyed THE A-TEAM, or like Retro Graphics, you will enjoy cruising around in this FJ! It gets a lot of attention everywhere it goes, and lots of Thumbs-Up. The custom paint shines up nicely as you can see, but shows some age and chips here and there. Diamond plate and chrome wheels are in good shape. A few little odds and ends like the headlight protectors are showing some age and minor rust from ocean air. The interior is excellent and has no rips or tears. Double rubber floor mats for comfort and sound absorption. Removable hard top and full roll cage.
This thing is a BEAST, but it was never wrecked or abused. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it Cross-Country as it sits right now. It is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end this listing at any time.
