Relisted because Ebay removed my auction it shows it had a Salvage title in CA and I'd put clean, I'm supposed to know that???? Don't know why, I haven't found any reason for that, car looks all original. For sale 1981 Toyota Supra with 1UZFE V8 swap. Runs and drives great. Engine and transmission are from a 1995 LS400 federal emissions with 191k. Engine was refreshed with new gaskets, tune up, water pump, and timing belt. Toyota red coolant. 180* thermostat. EGR has been deleted. Mounting brackets are Xcessive manufacturing units on stock mounts. Stock ecu with o2 simulators for the post cat monitoring. OBD2 was retained so you can still hook up a scanner. Fuel pump is a external 255 lph unit. Tachometer is a 4 cylinder unit with the 6 cylinder face using a relay mod. It jumps around at high rpm because of the relay. A better solution can probably be come up with. New battery and alternator. Transmission is the stock A340E that has been rebuilt with a new converter and converted with a slip joint output connecting to a custom one piece driveshaft. Exhaust is a custom two into one running modified LS400 manifolds, single catalytic converter, and a single muffler. Sounds great, no drone or rasp. Radiator has been modified and runs a two row high efficiency core with two electric fans and fan controller, runs right where it needs to be. External P/S and transmission coolers. Steering is a 82-85 Supra rack and pinion unit with custom lines, poly mounts, and steering shaft from Xcessive manufacturing. New A/C compressor and custom lines. System currently has a vacuum pulled on it and is ready for a charge. System is set up to run R12. Rear end is the stock open F series differential. Disk brakes all around with new pads and master cylinder. New tires on stock alloys. Suspension runs T3 RCAs, KYB GR2 shocks in the rear, KYB AGX in the front, and King lowering springs from Australia. Body is in great original shape, original 119k miles. California car, no rust. LED headlights. Interior is all original and could use restoration as the fabric is drying out. Everything works (except A/C). Original dash, radio, equalizer, and tape player. All in working condition. 120 mph speedometer from a late 70’s Celica. Driver’s door has new pins / bushings installed. LED lights in dash. Original 5ME engine and A43D transmission are available at an additional cost, both work great. All mods are 100% reversible, nothing cut or hacked. Clean Texas title in hand. Includes two keys.
