Please call or text Mike at 904-571-1241 About Us: Florida Direct Auto is an independent used vehicle dealer in Jacksonville, Florida that specializes in clean, hard to find vehicles at wholesale pricing. We have been in business here in Jacksonville since 2010 and between the 4 of us we have over 30 years of experience in the business, 10 of which has been in online sales. We keep our prices competitive because we have low overhead and we are run like a well-oiled machine. We trim out the unnecessary spending that a lot of other dealerships have and we also do volume instead of trying to make it all on one unit. All 4 of us are passionate about vehicles and we do our homework on each vehicle. As a business owner, I don’t want to put my hard earned money into a bad vehicle, so we actually drive and inspect the vehicles before we even purchase them. We are approximately 20 minutes away from Fernandina Beach, which is a great place for a relaxing vacation with plenty of nice views of the ocean, golfing, great dining and plenty to see and do. A lot of customers from out of state (which is about 90% of them), like to sight see and make a vacation out of their vehicle purchase. Places like Daytona Beach, Saint Augustine, Orlando (Disney World, Universal, Epcot, etc.), Tampa Bay (Clearwater Beach, Busch Gardens) and more are popular spots. If you have any questions about buying a vehicle or how the process works or just need some reassurance that we are a real company, please give us a call. We are Licensed, Insured, and Bonded with the State Of Florida so you can feel confident that your buying experience will be smooth as silk and pain free. Vehicle Pickup & Shipping Vehicle Pickup: You can either drive to our location with another driver, rent a car and drive it one way (We are right next to the airport so we can pick you up free of charge at the rental return), or you can fly in and drive the vehicle back and we will pick you up at the airport free of charge as long as you provide us in advance with your flight information. Shipping: We can get you a shipping quote if you provide us with your zip code. We set the whole thing up to where all you have to do is take delivery from the transporter. Shipping is door to door so it comes right to your house or business, unless you have special instructions to ship it elsewhere. We do not use a broker so we cut out the middle man, which saves our customers anywhere from $100-$700 on shipping, depending on the vehicle and location so we will beat most shipping quotes that you get. Shipping typically takes 5-7 Business days but can vary depending on the time of year, vehicle size and delivery location. We are located right off of I-95 so it is very favorable for shippers, which makes the shipping cheaper since it is convenient. Deposits: Deposit amount is $500 and is due within 24 hours at the close of auction or immediately if you use the Buy It Now feature. Deposits are not refundable unless there is a major mechanical issue with the vehicle (for example, a slipping transmission or an engine that is overheating or knocking but not for simple routine maintenance issues like brakes, tire tread depth or cosmetic issues like scratches, dings or imperfections on the exterior or interior) and we do this to protect ourselves from non-serious buyers. We pay a lot of money to list vehicles on here and we simply cannot afford to pay relisting fees because someone changes their mind or the vehicle doesn’t drive like they thought it would. We’ve been doing it this way for 7 years and we’ve rarely had any problems because we describe vehicles accurately, but as for every aspect of life you cannot please everyone unfortunately. : 1983 Toyota Pickup SR5 Longbed 4WD *ONLY 63,000 Original Correct Miles! That's not a typo folks, this is the real deal Holyfield. We acquired this Toyota pickup from the 2nd owner out of Lincoln, Nebraska. He purchased it from the Original owner who bought the truck new in...get this...Anchorage, Alaska...Really cool I think. The original owner bought it for pleasure use as a secondary vehicle but from what I was told he just kept it stored in his detached garage and drove it sparingly to other towns in Alaska when the weather permitted. The 2nd owner bought it for a collectors piece that he could drive on weekends but quickly learned that the ride isn't as smooth as he anticipated, it was his first solid axle rig, so once he found out his wife was pregnant he was forced to sell but he really did regret it. The truck was in great condition when we got our hands on it but it just needed to be gone through and restored as close to its glory days as possible. Here is a partial list of some of the things we restored on this truck: *Full Basecoat/Clearcoat done in the Original (033) White *Refresh of the top end: Machined the head, New head gasket, New guides, New valve cover gasket, New spark plugs and wires, New fuel pump, New radiator, New oil pan and gasket, New alternator, New voltage regulator, New E-brake cable and sensor, New battery and terminals, New air filter, Fresh oil change, Fresh Toyota Red Coolant (not the green crap), etc. *Last owner completed the original carb rebuild and had the truck fine tuned, it runs like a sewing machine and fires right up *New Bilstein 5100 shocks & Old Man Emu Steering stabilizer *New muffler and piping *Original Toyota 15" wheels with Brand new BFG K02 All-Terrain tires (31x10.50x15) and they ride phenomenally well for being aggressive tires. We even added a little touch with the vintage Japanese Toyota symbol on the rear wheel caps to give it that retro touch *We added the retro Toyota decals from James Dean Creations (The guy does phenomenal work on these decals) *Rust preventative treatment. The frame was in great shape when we got it but had some old undercoating on it that wasn't the best of quality so we scuffed and undercoated the frame to prevent future rust damage (If you're buying this truck, I would hope that you aren't going to be driving on salty roads up north but just in case, the frame is covered). *As far as condition of the truck, for being a 1983 this thing is in incredible condition! The body is very straight and lines up very well, not really any body damage to speak of. I have taken a ton of pictures of the paint so you can observe its condition. Underneath is very clean for a 37 year old truck, The interior is in excellent shape, the seats are in great condition, the headliner is clean and in great condition, the flooring and shifter boots are clean and undamaged, the dash is intact without cracking as can be seen in the photos, the original stereo is intact and working, it's really a complete truck. No excuses for this one. *This truck is Toyota nostalgia and these are only going up in value, I can't imagine what this truck will be worth in 5-10 years. Not many of these out there in this condition that are decently priced like this one. I can go on and on about how much I love this truck is but I'm going to wrap it up and let my pictures do the talking. I'm going to run this auction with a LOW RESERVE and it WILL SELL to the highest bidder once the reserve is met. With that being said, I am also taking offers so if you have a reasonable number in mind you can call or text me at 904-571-1241 (I do reserve the right to end this auction early NO MATTER WHAT). BEFORE you bid, ask yourself "Am I going to follow through with this purchase?" If you're answer is anything but "Absolutely", refrain from placing a bid on my auction. If you win my auction and do not follow through, I will do everything in my power to make sure Ebay doesn't let it happen again. So just do us both a favor and save us all the headache. This is a nice truck, there won't be any regrets with this purchase. Think about it, this is an investment opportunity and/or a very nice weekend truck. These trucks only gain in value as people yearn for that Toyota nostalgia from when pickup trucks were just that; it takes you back to that time when things were simple and less complicated. So if you've been searching and thinking about buying one of these, please do yourself a favor and consider this one. I buy and sell around 250 cars and trucks a year and this one is probably one of my favorites. Check it out below for yourself, 250+ High Resolution photos so you can see EVERYTHING. If there is anything that I missed or if you want a video of the truck (I can also FaceTime), just give me a shout on my cell at 904-571-1241. *Clean and Clear title in hand. No stories, No BS. *If you truly want to buy this truck, pick up the phone and call or text Mike at 904-571-1241 to discuss buying this vehicle before the auction ends, most auctions do not go the entire distance and rarely sell on Ebay. Even though this auction has a LOW RESERVE auction it is still possible to purchase the truck before the auction ends. *We just had this truck professionally detailed and it really pops in person, the pictures don't do it justice. *Mechanical: 22R engine paired with a 5-Speed manual transmission. The engine runs strong, the transmission shifts smooth through each gear (the clutch feels good), the 4x4 works as it should and the heater works. *Please take a look at the 250+ HD pictures of this truck below to get a good idea for the condition of the vehicle, it is in great condition for being a 37 year old truck. *If you have read through the description and looked through the 250+ Pictures of this truck and still have questions about the vehicle or how the process works you can give me a call or shoot me a text at 904-571-1241. I take a deposit of $500 and hold the vehicle until you can pay the balance. I can also set up shipping for you or pick you up at the airport here in Jacksonville as a courtesy. Thanks for checking out my listing!
