Vehicle Details This is the very rare FJ45 series pickup truck, With its longer wheelbase as compared to the more traditional FJ40, it was highly regarded for its utility and durability. It was produced until 1984 in Japan, but the US market stopped receiving original samples at some point in the late 1960's. This Land Cruiser comes with upgraded power steering and the bullet proof Toyota 2F gasoline engine which was overhauled about 19,900 miles ago, it is paired with a 4 speed manual transmission. The Toyota Land Cruiser 2F engine is a 4.2 Litre Inline-6 cylinder that can go 500,000 miles without a problem if properly maintained. The truck bed is made of very high quality hardwood, back in the day the truck was used as a coffee plantation work truck in Costa Rica. The bed wood pieces can be taken off to make it a flatbed, it could make an amazing overlanding rig as well. This Land Cruiser was refurbished inside and out and is ready to take the new owner on new adventures. I am able to secure an original metal bed and or parts if the new owner should need some.
