The truck was modified by TLC 4×4 and was fitted with a 4.8-liter Vortec V8 as well as a four-speed 4L65E automatic transmission, which is paired with a dual-range transfer case.
Service in spring 2020 included a fuel-injector cleaning and replacement of the water pump, spark plugs, and ignition wires. 11K miles have been added since.
Additional work performed included disassembling the truck, deleting trim, and refinishing it in gray as well as refreshing the interior with patterned BMW seats, sound-deadening material, replacement carpeting, an audio system, and a Line-X coating in the cargo area. Other features include:aftermarket bumpers, 17″ ICON wheels, 33″ tires, air conditioning, a locking steel console, a folding rear seat, and a 38-gallon fuel tank.
