1989 1st Generation 4 runner. I owned one 20 years ago. I’ve looked periodically over the years and have not found one as nice as this. I bought this for my 18 yr. Old because he thought it was cool- turns out he doesn’t want to drive stick and would prefer not a tinker car- well- someone else’s gain- now onto the car.

Just tuned up and checked out by The Truck Shop in San Diego- check them out. New plugs and wires, new master cylinder, new water pump and timing belt. No leaks whatsoever- all resealed everywhere- dry as a bone underneath. No rust. Soft top is legit. Power windows. Automatic locking hubs on the 4WD Interior is super clean- see photos. Exterior paint is in great shape- see scratches here and there- for the year looks amazing.

Here is the list of things wrong.

- wiper fluid wash pump needs to be replaced.

- a/c- doesn’t blow so cold

-rear window- goes down great- intermittent on it going up. Was told the switches need to get cleaned out? Not sure

- rear wiper (see from photo)-not on- likely broken off removing the hard top from prior owners

- passenger window on passenger side does not work- it works fine from the drivers side- was told the switch wire contacts just need to be cleaned

- scratches here and there on body- took photos of all.
