Vehicle Details 1985 Toyota Xtra cab SR5 4 cylinder 22R with Holley carburetor. This is the last year of the solid front axles. This truck has been very well kept. Still has the original interior which in great shape for a 40 year old truck. It's a great driver or would be a very easy restore. The engine was rebuilt shortly before I purchased the truck. The owner said it started losing power and that is when he sold it to me. I took the front of the engine apart to see what happened and why and found that the wrong bolt had been put into the timing chain accumulator. After finding that, I put an LCE dual row timing chain cover and light RV cam. I have probably driven the truck for less than 5 thousand miles. It runs great- I just don't use it and it has been sitting for far too long. I drive it occasionally to keep the batteries charged, but it needs to go to somebody who will care for it. As you can see in the pictures it has a Warn bumper and Warn winch that works well. I personally would take off to anywhere in the US with this truck. Has great tires and plenty of power for the 22R engine- will do 80 mph down the road (foot on the floor- no headwind).4wheel drive and hubs works great. The front axle was rebuilt with all new gaskets, shims and wipers. I have all 4 leaf springs and bushings- ($1250.00 value)I just don't have time to put them in. Fly here- drive it home if it suits you. Oh yeah- it's got dual batteries. If you need extra pics or have any questions- don't hesitate to reach out!
