Engine: The engine in this truck looks to be fairly complete with no major components missing. The engine compartment looks to be very original with all identification plates and proper electricals installed.
Interior: The interior is very rough overall. This truck had been outside for many years with no form of cover or protection from the elements. The seats and other interior cloth have moss growing from years of neglect. The floorboards are rusted through at the drivers side footwell. There is also no carpeting left in this truck due to the exposure to the elements
Exterior: The body and paint work are in very rough shape. Lots of rust can be found throughout the body paneling especially in the rocker area. The paint work is very faded and will need to be resprayed. This truck will need an extensive restoration in order to be made solid and safe for road operation
Overall and Summary: This truck will need extensive repairs to be made safe and operational again. The overall framework is solid and is a great candidate for restoration. The chassis is not missing and major running components however the doors and hardtop are absent.
Evaluation: After careful evaluation of this vehicle, based on my expertise and experience (and after consulting Old Cars Price Guide, NADA, Collector Car Auction Results, the Internet, reviewing the International vehicle Appraisers Network database, reviewing comparable, etc. and after consulting with other Professional Appraisers, museums, and automotive experts, etc., when necessar, I appraise (estimate) this vehicle as having a Fair Market Value of $5,000 (in it's current condition)
I have this listed locally for sale and can end the auction if it is sold.
