Description of 1958 Triumph Other

This is a 1958 Triumph TR3A according to the VIN, owever, s was common practice of the time, nbsp;it was titled as a 1959, hich was the year it was actually sold new.
Car was rebuilt from the ground up 3 years ago. This was a rust free car that came with no engine or transmission, o a 1962 TR3B that was too far rusted to repair donated it's engine and transmission to the project. The engine and transmission were both completely rebuilt. This engine is the 2.2 liter, ored .30 over, ll new liners, ods, istons, am.... all working parts were replaced at the time with new parts. All receipts come with car.
If you will notice the TR3B engine is similar to the TR4, n that oil filler spout on the valve cover is located at the rear of the engine, hile all other TR3's had the oil spout located at the front of the engine.
Engine number is TCF1227E. That engine code signifies that this engine came from a very late TR3B. The transmission is also matching the TR3B and has the verydesirable 4 speed synchromesh with electric overdrive. The overdrive activates in 2nd, rd and 4th gears.
Duringrestoration the entire car was striped of paint, t the time only one very small rust spot was found, hich was the passenger side floor. This was repaired with metal. No other rust was found on the car and you will find no bondo, r similar products on this body.
All new leather interior, ith new carpets installed. Allgauges areoriginal and functional, ith exception of tempgauge which was replaced with NOS. After market wood steering wheel installed, he original is in mypossession andavailable with the car.

Car has the optional heater, f you note on the dash there is a map light where the heater rheostat should be, do have the original, orking rheostat that can easily be switched out.
Has optional windshield washers that are not currently connected. Also windshield wipers are not currently working, imply due to not being hooked up, s this car is never driven in the rain.
All chrome is new, onvertible top and tonneau cover are new, ide curtains are aftermarket AMCO, ut are in new condition.
Has fog lights that are connected to a circuit boss fuse block. There is no radio in the car, owever one could be added as there are 4 open fuses in the circuit boss.
