I am a firm believer in knowing what your buying, ot just letting the photos do the talking. Below is avery detailed description of thisperformance inspired TR6 show car.
Starting from an excellent condition driver with a recently rebuilt drivetrain, he car received avery nice restoration and has a little under3200 miles since completion. All the parts on the car are ether new, ebuilt or restored to very high standards of quality. All the cars surfacesare extremely clean and free of dirt, ust and grime. This special TR-6 embodies all of the most desired features, hile still maintainingthe correct profile and appearance. It has been in a continuing state of restoration, pgrades and refinements since its first stage of its restoration in 2004 by its previous enthusiast owners. On 10-20-2015 it received its final crowning touch, beautifully executed show quality, PG, ase coat, lear coat, aint job, erformed by the Action Collison Center in Little Elm, X.

The high quality paint job is flawless, roviding a mirror like reflections at every angle. The car was completely disassembled for paint. The doors, ood and trunkwere prepped and painted separately. All the lights, irrors, rim, rill andbumperswere also removed inthe prepping process to produce this incrediblepaint finish. The paints surface quality also extends to the door jams, runk,engine compartment and underside of the car.I just installed a pair of new TR-6 Union Jack stickers on the rear. I also added a newpair of small,high quality enamel Union Jacks and new metal Leyland emblemson the front lower fenders.I also havea reproduction,1974 emissions enginesticker that goes on the drivers side, uter wheel well, hat needs to be installed. I also have a set of like new Plexiglas wind deflectorwings,that clip to the windshield pillars, ot seen inthe ad's photos, hatcome with the car.

The Triumphs drivetrain is all numbers matching, riginal to the car and was recently rebuilt and has just a little under 3,200 miles since completion and has a nice show quality appearance with all newand restored parts. Thetransmission shifts flawlessly, iving you perfect shifts every time and has a new clutch, ew presser plate, ew throw out bearing, ew clutchmaster cylinder and new cluchslave cylinder. The engine has a very niceK&N typeair cleaners andpolished aluminum finned valve cover. The heads were shaved and a mild performance cam added. It alsohas a modern spin offoil filter conversion that uses the most common Chevy filter available. The cars smog ridden, enith carburetors / smog pump, ere removed and replaced with a rebuilt pre-emissions SU HS6 carburetors, hich are more efferent and reliable than the originals. The TR-6 is also running the Protronixs, lectronic ignition system, idden in the original distributor.It has a recent coil, ater pump, oses, an beltand strong starter. Ijust replaced the sparkplugs wires, park plugs, ap and rotor. The car received a newPerformance Free-Flow Duel Exhaust System by Monza with beautiful chrome tips that has aintoxicating, ange ofbaritone sounds.I just changed the oil and filterand the car has no oil leaks, 5+ poundsof oil presser. The 2.5 liter Six cylinder engine,starts easily, he temperature stays at normal even on thehottest days. The cars stock radiator was recently cleaned, o scale and hasfresh green radiator fluid.This Sixhas a wonderfulstaccato sound at idle and will pull hard all the way to redline.

The TR6 IRS system is the special ingredient that makes the car handle like it is on rails. The cars steering, uspension shocks, rakes, ll feels great and perform well in all conditions, ike fast corners and extreme and highway speeds. When driving briskly you get very positive feed back to the steering wheel. The car has no clucks, queaks or rattles or unwanted vibrations. The parking brake works with authority, ront disk brakes stop the car fast and straight with good control in emergency braking until controlled lockup. The Triumphsuspension sportsall new bushings front and rear, ewSuplex heavy duty front springs and newSuplex heavy duty rear trailing armsprings, ewfront Spax shocks andnew rear Koni shocks.The IRS system was gone through and has new axels and axels boot protectors. This TR also hasnew front rotors, ew brake master cylinder,new frontand rear brake slave cylinders, ew brake padsand new brakelines on all 4 wheels. The TR6 hasa good jack, mall tool kit,nice unused Goodyear Red Line spare tire and new Bridgestone 205-65-15 Petenza directionalperformance tires on new Mini-Lite8 spoke aluminum wheels.

The interior is likenewandhas itjust received acustom made, urled Ash dash panel that was stained to match the cars yellow paint.The cars interior is well insulated, t has Dyno-Mat on the floor, unneland firewall, ith new factory typeinsulation on top. The TR-6's wood, eather, inyl, loth, arpet, hrome, teel, luminum, lass, lastic, ubber and painted finishes are all near flawless and look new. The interiordash pads are perfect with no cracks, ice black seats,newblack door cards, ew black cards behind the seats,new black carpet, ecentblack rubber floor mats, ew Triumph logo trunk mat, ew black convertible top, ice black half Tonneau cover, very clean high quality custom car cover, ew fireextinguisher mounted behind the passenger seat, ot shown in the photos.

All the cars electrical, auges, ights, witches, eater fan, ipers, orn, urn signals,flashersare in good working order, t will pass a safety inspection. All the gauges were justcleaned inside and a new electronic solid stateturn signal flasher was addedthatfixed the common problems thatall TR6's have with their the turn signals.The head lights shine very brightwith its new 55 AMP Boschalternator and new Walmart battery.The TR-6 has a nice sounding Pioneer AM/FM/CDsound system with remote and 6x9's in the rear in small boxes that can get loud and sound great. A separate modern fuse box was add to accommodate the sound system to take the load off the original fuse box and it has room for otherelectricalconnections in the future.

Their are very few affordable British cars that give you the raw emotions, ites, oundssmells and performance that the TR6 emits and this one has it on steroids. This Triumph is a perfect car for club sponsored events like rallies, ill climes and autocrosses and can easily take the FTD. If your getting older, ike myself androde onbikes all your life, his is a great 4 wheel transition that yourwife will approve of and may even ride with you. I think you will geta lot of pleasureon thosespecial roads again, ike you use too. This TR6is near flawless, ery bright, hinny andflashy, t will wintop honorsatlocal car showsand gets attention where ever it goes.The carcomes with two sets of keys,original owners manual, epair manual, omereceipts and a box of spares, oth new and used.

The cars hasthree flaws that I need to mention:

1. The Mimosa Yellow color isone of themost popular original TR6 colors, utthedoor tag indicatesthe carwas originallypainted red from the factory, he paint job was done properly and showsnoevidence of the colorchange.

2.The chromebumpers had their rubber over riders removed, therwise are in good driver quality condition, ut should be re-chromed to bring them to show quality.

3.The passenger seat has a small 1/8 inch long puncture in the vinyl, hat was repaired and can only be detected if pointed out from a very close distance.
