Description of 1952 Triumph Other Saloon

Very Unique Triumph Renown Mk 2 Serial # 2 of 1800 built, survive only other in US
If this is restored with original engine it will be the most original in US the other car in the US has had the engine replaced.

The Renown was not an export model and only built in right-hand-drive for the home market, nd so it is very rare to see one in US considering there are less than 200 known to have survived today in the entire world this includes all models Mk 1 Mk 2 Limo and roadster.

Car can cruise at 75mph but is slow getting there .

Engine turns has clean oil with no leaks. coi, ater pump, tarter moto, il pump and alternator all working.Points and Plug are in good condition. It may be that we can get the car running prior to the end of theauction.
Radiator and Chrome work some good some section need re-chrome but solid
Interior need complete restoration original seatsprings are sound.
Dashboard facia is good but backing wood needs refurbishing .
Gauges are all there but have not been tested.
A day or two on body shop repairs would make this a good looking car again.
Triumph Razor Efge Club have all the door seal andreplacement engines part, ll of which are inexpensive
The back fenders need to be rotate 20 degree andintermediate section fitted. I have these and there in good condition.
Interestingly I believe a TR6 engine and transmission would go into this car and make it a 100mph saloon seating six..mmm maybe not
It is and easy car to stretch this car or convert to a rat rod. Engine cover is four part make it perfect to slot in a 351 W or possibly a big block.
