1973 Triumph Staaaaag, under Blue Book value. Very rare coupe with removeable hardtop and convertible top, Maybe 600 registered examples left in the country. Was owned by a Triumph mechanic who changed out the lowly SAAB V8 with a TR6 straight 6. Runs excellent with a 4 speed manual. Color is the orignal Pimento Red and has 24k miles which I'm not sure if thats true but the condition agrees. Has 4 Michelin rain tires that are like new. New battery and fuel pump/regulator. Lights work and the car drives straight, smooth and strong; Amazing for a car thats over 40 years old. Not concours but a real easy low cost restoration thatll come close. The bad: tach/fuel gage is not working (connected?) and the drivers side window sometimes works and not. There is a little paint bubbling at the rear passengers side seam (see pic), not serious but will need to be corrected, I do not know how much other body work has been done but it looks good. The paint is a 7 outta 10 the interior is a 6 outta 10 (would be a 8 or 8.5 if the seat foam was replaced). Rear blinkers need a relay or bulbs I'll try to correct before end of auction along with the other minor electrical issues. Front seats need new foam bolsters and can be had from England for a reasonable price, Seat covers are pretty good (see pics). A lot of resto parts are still available.Stags are appreciating quickly and here's a opportunity to own a piece of English motorcar history. If your looking for a classic you can actually drive while youre bringing it up to show status this is a good start. I'm shooting for getting my buying cost out of it nothing more. I've recently bought another Lancia Zagoto that will be getting my full attention and I'll not have the time or room for this car. It is up to the buyer to arrange transportation, NO warranty is included. If youre from Seattle and decide to fly in and drive it home, thats your call. I believe the car to be sound and running but really needs a go thru before a road trip. FYI: I have put the min WAY below the NADA low retail, Thank you.
