I built this little roadster as a tribute to hot rodders an road racers of the late 50s and early 60s. There is nothing on this car that could not have been purchased new or second hand in 1958. The chassis is early underslung, live axel Triumph. The motor is a 1958 Chevy 283 with period correct Offenhauser tri-power using Rochester 2bbls. The transmission is early Saginaw non-synchro 3spd. Gauges are new vintage Stewart Warner convex-lens Wings gauges. The car runs and drives beautifully. It is very well sorted. Every part of the brake system is brand new including drums, shoes, calipers, rotors, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, and lines. This car has a clean and current California title. It is registered as a 1954 Triumph TR2. There will never be any smog checks. This little guy weighs a scant 1780lbs. Needless to say it is quite quick and a blast to drive.
