Description of 1975 Triumph TR-6 |
Thanks for checking out my ad. I have reduced the asking price on "Luna" by $2,000 to excite the discriminating driver who can appreciate the special nature of this particular TR6. Here is my beloved TR6, up for sale. She's been through a complete restoration in 2004 and runs great. Lots of S2 mods. A real looker ... and powerful ... and she sounds like few other TR6s. Always stored in a humidity controlled garage, and I always stored her indoors in a Car Bubble from November to May. The sale includes the 12' Car Bubble system with fan that runs on 110VAC. She's only seen rain a handful of times since 2004. I have owned her for 12 years. The S2 Spec is based on a series of cams from stock S1 through fast road S2 through racing S3 S4. The S specs were designed by Kas Kastner and the British Leyland / Jag-Rover-Triumph Competition Department. Primary sources are Competition Preparation Manual for TR-250/TR6 and Kas Kastner's Spitfire, GT-6, TR-3, TR-4, TR-250, TR-6 Triumph Preparation Handbook. The last photo is the reason that I am selling this TR6. I'm raising a pair of German shepherds and (1) they don't go in the car, (2) they leave little time for solo recreation, and (3) if you know shepherds, you know how they feel if you leave them behind.
