Description of 1959 Triumph TR3 TR3 Roadster |
1959 Triumph TR3 4 Cylinder 4-Speed Estate Car Garage Find NO TITLE Bill Of Sale ONLY IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE CALL BRIAN AT 765-561-0599 We are offering for sale this 1959 Triumph TR3 that is in need of a total restoration. I purchased this car out of a local estate and it is a true garage find. The car has been sitting in dry storage for many years. The body is solid and the car has most of the important parts however as you can see is missing several. How you see the car photoed is exactly how I purchased it. With the exception of the transmission tunnel cover if any parts are not in the photos I do not have them. When I winched the car on the trailer it was in gear and I could see the motor tuning over. I have not tried to start the engine but is does turn over. The body and chassis are quite solid. Sure there are some areas of surface rust and some maybe just a little deeper than surface but still the body is in good condition. The trunk pan, fire wall, and inside the hood area are solid as well. You can see in the photos that someone started to install new floor pans and did not finish the job. The pans are solid but will need finished. It does have the chrome spokes with the knock offs. I'm told that is a good thing. I am not knowledgeable on Triumph's and have told you what I see and know. If you have any questions feel free to email me or call the number provided. The vehicle has a VIN Tag that reads TS 3550 L. HOWEVER, this vehicle does not have a title. I purchased it on a Bill Of Sale and that is how I am going to sell it. The previous owner did acquire a blank Triumph VIN Tag so as I was told a new VIN can be issued. I will give the new buyer the tag and a Bill Of Sale as well. So lets be clear. NO TITLE. Bill Of Sale ONLY. I am selling this car with NO RESERVE. The high bidder will own it. The TR3's appear to be a desirable and valuable car. This car is worthy of a restoration. I just don't have the time for it. Good luck! CONDITION: EXTERIOR: Old car that has been sitting in storage. The body is solid. INTERIOR: Missing several interior parts. DRIVE TRAIN: Engine, transmission, drive shaft, and rear end are in the car. Engine will turn over and transmission will shift gears. Does not run or drive. I am selling this car to be in need of total restoration or parts. NO TITLE In the description above under the title area I could not leave it blank so I chose "clear" on title. Once more. This car does not have a title. Bill Of Sale ONLY. Please email or call Brian at 765-561-0599 with any questions.
