Description of 1974 Triumph TR-6 |
For sale is my 1974 Triumph TR6. 4 speed non overdrive car, that recently underwent complete restoration. All work has been done by Royal Coach & Motor Works in southport NC. This TR6 has a rebuilt engine by long time tr6 racer Sam Halkias of Westerville Ohio, tuned and timed with new condition weber carburetors and modern fixtures like a spin on oil filter adapter Also has new top, carpet, seats, and more. Suspension is in fantastic shape with newer a arm bushings, as well as brand new (3/18) Redline tires. Modern single din radio installed, that hardly gets any use with the glorious exhaust note. Overall the car is in fantastic shape and drives even better. Oil pressure is within spec with a fresh change 3/2018. I have been thoroughly enjoying the car on the first days of spring here in SC, but with a newborn I must sell my beloved drop top. The paint was resprayed some 15 years ago I believe, and is in great shape from 5 feet. Under closer scrutiny, there are a few small dings (I've tried to picture them here) as well as a few scratches and chips. The dings would be no problem to any reputable Paintless Dent Remover tech. Chrome is showing its age, and could use replating if the buyer felt the need. Trunk has all panels, but does not have a new carpet kit. Please do not hesitate to call with questions or for more detailed pictures/videos of the car. My phone number is 774 571 2407, car is located in Conway, SC. For serious buyers I will gladly facilitate any pre purchase inspections of the vehicle, the vehicle is sold as is, and I may be able to deliver within a few hundred miles. If you have any questions please ask! Thanks for viewing, happy bidding! |
