Vehicle Overview
VIN # TR41540L This is an exceptional example of a very well maintained 1959 Triumph TR3 that has received a long list of repairs and shows only 10,714 miles on the odometer. The TR3A boasted a front independent suspension, a live rear axle, and front disc brakes; becoming the first production British car to do so. This model also benefited from larger carburetion and a newly designed cylinder head which translated to a 100 HP power plant that could propel the TR3 upwards of 110 mph. This car has been meticulously cared for and always been garaged kept. The car is in remarkable condition both mechanically and aesthetically. Clad in the very desirable signal red paint over black interior & black bucket seats with red piping, the car is a true head turner. Featuring the cut back doors with prominent swooping fenders, this remains a memorable classic British car design with very nice chrome, excellent wiring, and a 4-speed transmission. This car is being offered with its two original removable side curtains, convertible top hood, roadster rain protector cover, toolkit, recent service records, and a clear Florida title. Some of the recent work performed to the car are as follows - Replaced all hoses - Replaced the ignition distributor to a Pertronix "Flame Thrower Electronic" system - Replaced the ignition coil to match new update - Cleaned and updated needles on the carburetors along with springs etc. - Replaced the copper radiator to an aluminum wizard cooling one to run cooler - Added an electric fan that turns on automatically at 195F degrees - Replaced all firewall grommets - Replaced the timing chain, tensioner, bracket, and gaskets - Replaced the timing chain cover - Replaced motor mounts - Went through the entire wiring diagram and updated the terminals on all front-end wires - Replaced all fender nuts and bolts top and bottom - Replaced water pump & gasket - New thermostat and sleeves along with pulley and gaskets - Upgraded 8-inch fan blade - Replaced battery tray - New fan belt - New radiator with factory style ducting - New high torque starter - New brake lines, brake clutch cylinders and brake fluid reservoir - Cleaned up and rebuilt wiper motor - New dashboard lights and sockets working with all gauges gone through or replaced - New headlights and headlights buckets installed and got all other lights working correctly - Exhaust clamps and clips replaced - Replaced the fuel sending unit - Replaced glove box liner - Replaced horns and covers - Replaced all engine gaskets - Went through the brakes and unlocked the rear as well as got the parking brake to fully function. - Transmission tunnel cleaned up and painted with all new nuts and bolts to hold as well as seals - New transmission mount - New spare tire and tool kit - New seat rails installed - Re-chromed all pieces as well as chromed the window curtain holders If you need further images or have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask We accept partial or full trades for all Air Cooled 911 models and late model water cooled 911 models with or without blown engines. |
