1970 Triumph Spitfire MkIII VIN: FDU84350 Engine: FK8374HE (FK denotes 1296cc MkIV engine) Paint: Jasmine Yellow (34) Trim: Black Vinyl (11) Built in March of 1970 - Royal Air Force Spitfire paint scheme. Kind of awesome, but definitely a low-quality paint job. Visible run, brush marks, etc. - Runs and drives but the fuel system needs sorting. The tank will need to be dropped and cleaned. We have driven the car around the neighborhood and it felt quite good for a minute there, but it will of... course sputter out once the filter starts to fill up. As of now it'll start and idle, but sputter out once you begin driving. Clutch feels good, car shifts smoothly. Brakes straight and effectively. - The car does have a hardtop. Hardtop fits, but the method of fastening-down will need to be improved before actually using it. No soft top or tonneau cover. It does have a boot cover, though there is no soft top for it to cover. - Body is pretty dry and straight. There is some dust under the paint in a couple areas, like mid-rocker, but no real signs of body rust bubbling. Weatherstripping is rough throughout. - Majority of the powered systems don't work. Amber driving lights work, but the headlights and signals do not. Radio is not functional. Blower motor is not functional. Speedo and tach are functional. - Please defer to the photos. Driver's seat shows significant wear, passenger's less so. Carpet is intact but tired. - Tires are in decent shape. Plenty of tread, not dry rotted or flat-spotted, but probably older than they should be. - Car will come with a new set of shocks and springs. - Title, no other documentation.
