Very complete, very original TR7 convertible. Has typical TR7 rust on under side of hood, minor surface rust on drivers floor, otherwise rust free body. Engine starts and runs very well, I was driving it around town before putting into storage 2 years ago. Either the throw out bearing or pressure plate seized during storage so no longer drives. A few very minor dents in an otherwise very straight body. Has 30th Anniversary Edition badge on glove box door. Had the tissue paper upholstery, so that's pretty much done. Seat cushions and frames in good shape. Carpet is in very good condition as well. All rubber bushings have dry rotted. Top fabric is shot, frame is very good condition, and includes new convertible top. Top boot is in decent condition. Gas tank has about a hundred holes in it, so running off 5 gal boat tank in trunk. Has spare tire, tool pouch with some tools, original owners manual. I've had this car for six years now and my impression has always been that this car has spent most of it's life neglected in storage. Everything under the car(except the rubber parts) is in very good condition. It has been lifted under the drivers floor at some point causing a slight rise in the floor. This project just doesn't fit into my plans anymore. So time to move it on to someone who will save it. This will be a fairly easy restoration, or conversion to v-6 or TR8 v-8 specs. Serous bidders only please. Got enough problems without having to deal with non-payers. If you are under 10 feedback please contact me before bidding. Buyer is responsible for shipping, I will be happy to assist with loading. Down payment due in 48hrs. For sale locally I reserve the right to end auction early, but it probably won't happen. I am very happy to answer any and all questions you may have.
