Description of 1971 Triumph TR-6 |
1971 Triumph TR6 We are selling our 1971 Triumph TR6. The Triumph has been with us since July of 2000. We have a clean PA title. All invoices for service work and receipts for all ordered parts. The body needs minor restoration and a ignition. That's it. We have over $17,000 invested in this vehicle. We would like to get $15000 or Best Offer. All TR6s were powered by Triumph's 2.5-litre straight-6, with the same Lucas mechanical fuel-injection as the TR5 for the United Kingdom and global markets, and carburetedfor the United States, as had been the US-only TR250. The TR6PI (petrol-injection) system helped the home-market TR6 produce 150 bhp (110 kW) (145 hp DIN) at model introduction. The TR6 featured a four-speedmanual transmission. An optional electrically switchedoverdriveoperated on second, third, and fourth gears on early models and third and fourth on later ones. Construction was traditionalframe. Other features included semi-trailing armindependent rear suspension, rack and pinion steering, 15-inch (380mm) wheels and Michelin asymmetric XAS tireswhich dramatically improved the handling, pile carpet on floors and trunk/boot, bucket seats, and full instrumentation. Brakes werediscsat the front anddrumsat the rear. A factory steelhardtopwas optional, requiring two people to deploy. The dashboard was walnut veneer. Other factory options included a rear anti-roll bar and a limited-slip differential. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PICKUP OR DELIVERY OF VEHICLE.THANKS FOR LOOKING! CALL US FOR MORE INFO.... 215 721 4799 |
