I apologize for ending the previous auction, but I was concerned that the wording regarding the vehicle's exterior color could have been considered misleading. The body and frame are both straight, solid and rust free. Car exterior was repainted classic Triumph Racing Green. The original color of this car was Triumph 1969 color code 34 (Jasmine). This vehicle is in Great Condition and would be an excellent candidate for a frame off restoration or a daily driver. Original British Leyland Engine Type: OHV I-6, cast iron block and cylinder head Displacement: 2,498cc original Stromberg single-choke carburetors. Original 4 speed manual transmission. Upgraded Monza style dual exhaust system. Sounds Great! Original 1969 rims were repainted and fitted with correct TR6 center hubcaps (1970 – 1976 style) but the original full rim (1969 style) hubcap stand-off mounts are still on the rims. A new top was installed in 2018. New clutch slave cylinder, new brake master cylinder. Included is a vintage (correct) luggage rack that we bought and never installed. This low mileage, southern car was originally sold in Texas, and came to us via Virginia. It’s been with us since 2003. 1969 was the first year of production for the TR6. Only 6,632 of these were built for US import between 1968 and 1969. Car looks, runs and drives great! Will help where we can but buyer is responsible for making and paying for all transportation arrangements. Any questions, please ask before bidding. If you need additional photos, please ask.
