Presenting a 1972 Land Rover Series IIa 88 Soft top; Recent frame-off restoration and refurbishment; New Limestone paint and black reupholstered interior; 2.25L four-cylinder diesel engine (#E-46888700); Four-speed manual transmission with two-speed manual transfer gearbox and overdrive; Aluminum body has been completed removed from chassis and straightened and repainted and is in overall excellent order. The engine bay is very tidy cosmetically with all new hoses, belts, filters, clamps, and wiring throughout. A full size spare tire is located in the rear cargo area. The tires are all new and in excellent condition, and coupled with all new suspension and brakes provide for a comfortable, yet classic, driving experience. Under the hood is Land Rover’s 2.25 liter four-cylinder diesel engine, mated to a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive, with a two-speed manual transfer gearbox providing for lots of off-road enjoyment.
