I have owned this car for a number of years. It runs and drives very smoothly. The engine and gearbox are strong and reliable as is the clutch and brakes. There is an auxiliary electric fan installed on the radiator, although not hooked up. Almost everything on the car works. All the handles, knobs, lights, gauges, and wipers work as they should. The column mounted lights and indicator switches are brand new. The windshield has no cracks in it. It has an original Triumph radio installed in the dash but has never been hooked up as long as I have owned it. The frame and suspension, while dirty, show no sign of problematic rust. None of the sheet metal shows signs of major crash damage although the front bumper is bent along with some wrinkles around the front valence. There is a small indentation on the nose of the car. The tires, except one new one, are old and cracked, but hold air. I have welded in a 1 sq. ft. floor patch panel from Moss on the driver's side. The passenger side floor is in fine shape. I just recently re veneered the dash, and restored the glove box. The seats had been recovered by a previous owner and I have replaced the rubber support under the driver's seat. Both sun visors and hardware come with the car. I also cleaned and sealed the gas tank several years ago. The car currently has no convertible top, but has the top bows and a tonneau cover. A TR4 car cover comes with the car along with a number of new and used parts. It does not have a spare wheel, but does have the lead hammer and jack. I have some cheap carpet in the car now to cut down on noise and heat. The lower sheet metal on this car is the major issue that it has. There are several rusted out areas in the lower fenders and rocker panels with some small holes in the trunk floor. I have replaced the rear driver side fender with a used one, but have not finished the fitment. The overall paint is in ugly condition. This car is almost a complete TR4A in terms of parts and would be an easy rebuild. It has a clean North Carolina title. I'm 75 years old and am restoring a TR3. I just don't have the time to restore both of them. If you're seriously interested please message me and I will furnish more pictures and any detail that you need.
