Description of 1964 Triumph Other

1964 Triumph TR4 with overdrive. the car is rust free with no evident rust in the rockers. floors and trunk. This TR4 is a very good running TR4 having had much recent mechanical work performed. The work includes: a completed review of the electrical system including a new generator. The car charges well an the ignition light goes out correctly and the ammeter shows constant chargeall electrical items work with the appropriate switches - side lights. headlamps and main beam switch. indicators. wipers. brake lights. horn - all work wellnew clutch and serviced overdrive that works perfectly on 2nd. 3rd and 4th gearsnew heater valve and the car has heat!!!rebuilt carburetors and flushed fuel tank. new fuel linesThe car has wire wheels with almost new tires. The pictures show a white roof that needs replacing and I have an almost new replacement is included in the sale (see photos). The interior is in great condition with excellent seats and carpet. The dashboard could do with new lower left and right dashpad pieces that are available at all the parts stores. The car needs paint and it will then be a great fully running TR4. fairly rare original overdrive TR4. I just drove it a hundred miles with out incident and fairly good mpg. The car runs strong and can be driven spritely as a good English roadster should be. I have tried to represent the car truthfully in the photos and will answer any questions you may have.
