Description of 1974 Triumph TR-6 |
This was my car I bought in 1990 and drove for a number of years before starting a restoration that never finished. The vehicle has been sitting in private storage for 15+ years and I want to sell it because I realize I am not going to finish her. Body and chassis where separated and refinished. frame is painted in marine epoxy black. The entire drive train and suspension have been rebuilt. Engine has the Kent Road Grind Cam. high cap oil pump. ported and polished heads to accept the included CANNON fed 3-Webber sidedrafts. Ignition is electronic. radiator has a high capacity core. engine is oil cooled and there is a heavy duty clutch fitted. The engine will need a starter. battery and exhaust manifold compatible with the CANNON intake to run. it is still sitting at TDC with the bearings (authentic Vandervels) packed in molly grease. Interior is refinished but seats were never recovered. Dash was new 15+ years ago but has aged from storage. Car has authentic Moto Lita steering wheel and full length ANSA exhaust bent for the TR-6 (not to be confused with cheap Monza pipes. Ansa is the supplier to many super cars ie. Ferrari. Aston. Lambo etc. ). The body looks great but the paint needs to be polished from sitting and there are some small cosmetic issues from tomcats (if you have ever stored a car with pets you know what I mean!). I have most of the parts to finish in boxes and all receipts from the Roadster Factory can of course Moss. This vehicle will require some know how to get running and experience with English cars is preferred. Serious inquiries only. this is a cash only sale. Call:281-356-2642 ask for John. |
