Description of 1968 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

Classic Cool Ride. 1968 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible. Yukon Yellow Inside and Out with Very Nice Buckskin Tweed and Leatherette from TMI. Comfortable Low Back Seats. This little bug starts. shifts. stops and runs super. It is lowered and looks great as you can see in the photos. Great motor. approximately 1776cc. Paint has a good shine but has a few dings from driving on the road. Please see photos. The Empi/Porsche chrome wheels with two painted Porsche wheels centers look great. The other two wheels have plain chrome wheels centers because I have not been able to find two more to replace two that disappeared. The spare has an unpainted Porsche wheel center emblem. The yellow steering wheel lock is the Club Steering Wheel Lock brand. supposed to be the best. Horn. brakes and all electrical. are operational. Running boards are in nice shape too. Custom Grant Steering Wheel. Very Comfortable. Power Outlet added. Nice for GPS or Phone Charger. Included for shows is a vase with an Official bright yellow VW flower inside. Vase has a magnet so it can be displayed on glove box for shows. Really looks awesome. This model VW Convertible is definitely a popular collectible vehicle. This great Volkswagen bug was restored a few years ago in Claremont. California. It is very dependable and a wonderful way to enjoy the best hobby in the world; Volkswagens and classic cars. This Beetle has won at many VW shows. as well as all-car shows. The car has been driven to VW shows over 500 miles away; placed in its class and returned home without a problem. This little bug is a weekly driver. not a trailer queen. but occasionally has been transported in an enclosed trailer to keep it clean for the shows. This little Bug will take you anywhere you want to go in style. The glass is in great shape. The rear window and top is in excellent condition. The headliner looks nice too. The top and headliner do have some smudges like all convertibles when you let the top down. Buyer responsible for vehicle pickup and shipping. We can be flexible with date for pickup.
