Description of 1973 Volkswagen Thing Thing

1973 Volkswagen Thing Type 181
Runs and drives good. Car was originally from Georgia so it was not exposed to rough elements such as excessive salt.
The body tub is very solid. It has been rhino guarded on the rocker panels and inside the body tub along the inner rockers and rear luggage tray areas.
The floor pans are the original ones. They have been patched in a couple of spots and Rhino Guarded on both top and bottom.They are strong and still hold water.
All the lights and windshield wiper motor work.
It has a 1600 cc Dual Port Head VW engine that sounds and pulls great.
Car has new brakes and new tires The front end beam has new ball joints and tie rod ends.It also has a new windshield, onvertible top and plastic windows. Car has a new header muffler system that exits through the rear bumper like they did from the factory when new.
I have owned this car for one year. I have kept it inside our garage and have driven it regularly running errands on pretty days.The 73 year Thing models were equipped with a gas heater. This VW still has one but I have never tried to use it.
I require a $400 dollar non refundable Deposit within 48 hrs via paypal. The remaining balance will need to be Bank Check or Personal Check but it will need to clear the bank before the car leaves my property. If using Cash it can leave instantly .
