Description of 1956 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

1956 VW Beetle
Up for auction is a gorgeous 1956 VW oval window sliding rag top Beetle. This car is a jaw dropper. It gets a ton of attention anywhere it goes. These early Beetles are becoming very collectible and this example is sure to be a solid investment! This car has the look!
This Beetle has just undergone an extensive restoration with lots of attention to detail. The restoration is fresh and was just completed in April 2015. It has had less than 200 shake down miles since finished. The car is dialed in and ready to go!
If you look under the hood, n the door jambs,and in the engine compartment, ou will notice that this isn't your average VW restoration. Lots of time and effort went into getting this car where it is today.
The paint on the car is fresh and looks great! It was done in base / clear and has been color sanded and buffed. The color is the original Horizon blue and really look great!
All 5 of the original smoothie wheels were blasted and repainted in base / clear. 5 new Coker Classic wide whitewalls were installed along with new chrome center caps.
The motor is a great running 40hp that has has been nicely detailed. The original tins have all been powder-coated. All other parts were stripped and repainted. The belts, ines, nd hoses have been replaced with correct parts. The distributor has been gone through, arburetor rebuilt, ew fuel pump. and voltage regulator.
The interior on the Beetle looks fantastic! It is all new and done to very high standards using correct materials. The headliner is new and is the correct mohair material. The carpet is German square weave. The seats were striped bare, rames cleaned and painted, nd refinished with all new materials. The speedometer was restored. All the door handles, indow cranks, ash knobs, hift knob, teering wheel, ear view mirror, isor, orn button, tc have been replaced. A bamboo package tray was added. The column and pedal assembly have been repainted. The rag top has been replaced with new Stayfast canvas.
All the brightwork on the car is new and looks great. The has new bumpers, ide moldings, unning board trim, eadlight rings, mblems, oor handles, ood handle, ntenna, wan neck mirrors, orn grills, indshield trim, ide glass trim, indow scraper trim, ct.
The vent widow assembly have new glass, ll new seals, nd freshly chromed frames. All the window seals, eatherstripping, askets, runk rubber, tc. have all been replaced.
Overall, his is a great little car that is ready for someone to enjoy! Lots of time and money have been invested getting this car where it is today. There is nothing left to do to it but drive! This is youropportunity to own a freshly restored rag top oval, or less than you could restore a car to this level for.
