Description of 1965 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Split Window

1965 VW Bus/Vanagon Microbus in very good original condition. This is an original Microbus that has never been restored and still wears its original paint. Well preserved with minimal rust due to spending most of its life in Southern Colorado/New Mexico. All original glass and window frames in excellent condition. Selling with No Reserve to the highest bidder. Clear title present and in my name.
The body is very straight with the exception of some body damage on the drivers side rear wheel house. The wheel houses are solid and original which is unusual to see on one of these. The guttering around the roof is also solid and rust free. This VW is incredibly solid and original. The front doors are totally rust free. The side doors have some rust to the inner lower sections but not too bad. All the glass is good and the door windows slide open and close smoothly. The rockers are rusted and there is some minor rusting to the floor but overall the floor is excellent for an unrestored 65 Microbus. This is an incredibly good and complete original Microbus with excellent glass and window frames.
The original motor is fitted and turns over freely. All of the tires are rotted but it will roll with the assistance of a winch.
The interior is good. It is 100% complete and the original seats are included but not fitted, ome 70's Chevy van seats have been fitted in their place. I will also include in the sale a set of original VW split window seats in red in unbelievably good condition. The original floor mat is still present. The dash is in good condition and complete. The original headliner is in perfect condition which is not something that I have seen before on one of these.
Overall this is an excellent un-restored example of a split window VW Microbus. It is 100% complete and an excellent solid basis for a restoration.
